ABOUT TexAI & THE LYCEUM

CONFERENCE OVERVIEW

The one-day Texas Lyceum Public Conference will be held in downtown Austin on Friday, January 31, 2025. The event will kick off with discussions focused on the intersection of AI and policy, and it will feature leaders from national and international policy organizations, the Texas Legislature, the private sector, and other experts. Participants will also gain access to leading AI entrepreneurs and companies through an immersive and interactive visit to the Capital Factory, the hub and gathering place for Texas entrepreneurs. The conference will end with an evening reception, dinner and keynote fireside chat, followed by live music for the closing celebration.

ABOUT THE LYCEUM

The Texas Lyceum is a non-partisan, non-profit organization dedicated to fostering civil discourse among current and future leaders across Texas. We do this by hosting conferences on topics of critical importance, conducting an annual state-wide poll to understand sentiment across our state, supporting research by university fellows and publishing a quarterly online journal. The Lyceum aims to create opportunities for thoughtful people with different opinions to come together to discuss important issues that Texas and our communities face.

The Texas Lyceum is proud to count numerous state and national leaders as alumni. Some have gone on to major public service including President George W. Bush, Senator Ted Cruz, Governor Greg Abbott, Lieutenant Governor John Sharp, Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee, Congressman Chris Bell, Speaker Dade Phelan, Senator Kay Bailey Hutchinson and a number of other U.S. Representatives, Texas Supreme Court Justices and Texas State Representatives.
